The Association of Secretaries General of Parliaments (ASGP) will hold its next meeting in Geneva, Switzerland from 17-20 March 2014. More information on the meeting will be available on this site in January 2014.
The report of the joint IPU-ASGP conference on 'Managing conflict between Parliament and the courts' is now available on the IPU website
The Association of Secretaries General of Parliaments (ASGP) met in Geneva, Switzerland. Its members discussed a range of subjects, including the involvement of parliamentarians in international assemblies, the management of parliamentary buildings and the emergence of parliamentary diplomacy. The ASGP also adopted principles for the recruitment and career management of parliamentary staff. A number of documents discussed at the conference are available on this site under Past Meetings
